ART REQUIREMENTS
The following guidelines are meant to simplify your print projects by outlining our preferred file formats. Our goal is to avoid common communication and production errors.

Electronic Art Formats:
Preferred file format:
Adobe Illustrator .eps or .ai (CS5 or older) with fonts outlined, linked images 300dpi, CMYK, cropped to actual size, plus a high res PDF

Delivery of electronic artwork:
Email (for file sizes 5MB’s or less) to Steve at stp447@aol.com and the Art Department at art@labelconceptsinc.com. For files larger then 5MB please upload to FTP: Please stuff or zip your files before sending electronically.

Print Specifications:
Include die cut line in stroke form at 0.5pt size. Include a minimum of 0.0625” bleed outside of die cut edge. Print to die cut tolerance must be 0.0625” or more from printed graphics to die line. Minimum point size for positive print type: 3 pt Minimum point size for reverse print type: 4pt Minimum single stroke weight for line graphics: 0.35pt stroke

Please spec out any foil, emboss, or special inks that are needed for your label. Do not trap, or color separate your files. We will do that in house.

Linked or embedded images:
Include all supporting image files (ie: placed images, .tif, .eps, or .psd files). Convert them to CMYK (do not send RGB) at 300dpi actual size, 600dpi grayscale or 1200dpi bitmap (when appropriate)

Fonts:
We prefer all fonts to be outlined in the file, however if editable files need to be sent, please provide all fonts utilized in the file with the artwork - PostScript, Type‐1, or True Type.

Barcodes:
• We can create them for you if needed! Must provide the UPC digits.
• UPC‐A, UPC‐E, Code39, EAN‐128, INT2of5, ISBN etc…
